My spending and style....

Okay, I have... oops, I meant HAD, an addiction to shopping. Well, why did my sister send me these pics telling me this outfit would look great on me.Crazy thing is, she's right!!! It would look great on me!!! As soon as I saw the pic, I began thinking where could I find those pieces. Then lo and behold, it came to me... I have every last one of those pieces in my closet!!

Let me give you a lil background as to why I am excited. I am excited because I have noticed a change in my thinking when it comes to spending. A few months ago, I would have gone on line (with a vengence) and sought out those pieces to duplicate that outfit. I would NOT have given a second thought as to whether or not those pieces existed in my wardrobe. BUT!!!! Ever since my fiscal transformation, I have NOT been spending on clothes and have been spending lots of time in my closet becoming reacquainted with clothes I have purchased and TOTALLY forgot about. In a way, I am 'shopping', but I am doing so in my existing wardrobe because I have THAT many clothes which have not been worn. Yep. I was one of those folk. I would buy, buy, buy. Sometimes, my sisters would comment how they are going shopping in MY closet. So you get the picture.

So for all the shopaholics out there, I am here to tell you, it can be done. You can resist the urge to have the cutest shirt on display at Nordie's, because chances are, you already have one that resembles that shirt (or whatever it may be) in your closet. You can put that money to good use by paying a bill, putting it into a HYSA, or even investing.
